Confidence. Connection. Community.

Mountain View Equestrian was founded in 2022 after the request of a family friend of the founder - to teach her daughter to ride - one horse, one rider, and an instructor and founder who had no idea what she was beginning. What began as a simple, one-on-one lesson soon revealed grew into something much bigger: a space where patience, curiosity, and a love for horses could come together in a genuine and personal way. That single experience laid the foundation for what would steadily grow into a thriving program.

As the program grew, more riders were drawn to the welcoming and supportive atmosphere, each bringing their own goals, experience, and enthusiasm. The barn gradually evolved into a close-knit community built on trust, encouragement, and a shared appreciation for the bond between horse and rider. Every new face added to the sense of connection that defines the ranch today.

Now, Mountain View Equestrian is proud to have expanded to three well-trained, dependable horses and a steadily growing group of riders of all ages and experience levels who call the barn their home away from home. While the program has grown, its heart remains the same—rooted in personalized instruction, meaningful relationships, and the simple joy of spending time with horses in a peaceful, down-to-earth setting.

Tucked peacefully into the scenic foothills of Colorado, our ranch enjoys a convenient location just a short drive from Denver, Golden, Evergreen, Lakewood, Littleton, Arvada, and other nearby cities.

While easily accessible, it feels worlds away from fast-paced city life, offering a rare blend of tranquility and natural splendor. Surrounded by towering pines and expansive skies, this setting creates the perfect backdrop for immersive, private or semi-private horseback riding lessons free from everyday distractions.

Perched on the iconic Lookout Mountain, the barn is embraced by panoramic views that inspire both calm and wonder. Here, the beauty of the outdoors is not just a backdrop but an integral part of the experience—enhancing focus, encouraging connection, and fostering a sense of peaceful retreat.

Whether you are seeking quiet reflection or an engaging learning environment, this serene haven provides an atmosphere that is both refreshing and quietly invigorating.

Our ranch is arranged to provide an intimate and personalized experience for each and every rider. At its center is a small, well-kept arena—cozy in size yet perfectly suited for focused instruction, groundwork, and developing strong fundamentals in a calm, low-pressure setting. Its scale allows for close guidance and meaningful interaction, making it an ideal environment for building confidence and refining skills.

Two small, carefully maintained pastures complete the setting, providing a quiet, pastoral backdrop where horses can rest and graze, visitors can appreciate the simplicity and rhythm of ranch life, and our more advanced riders can learn in a larger and more serene setting.

At the heart of the ranch is our private barn, a warm and inviting space dedicated to connection and care. Here, you are encouraged to take your time grooming and bonding with your horse in an unhurried, supportive environment.

The ranch’s modest scale is part of its charm—creating a setting that feels approachable, personal, and deeply enriching, where every moment is centered on connection, learning, and the quiet joy of being close to horses.
