Our affordable horse riding summer camps are available to all students between the ages of 5 and 14. Each day of camp includes riding, grooming, horse care, crafts, games, and more! There are currently four different two-day long sessions to choose from, though availability is limited in all four.
Each camp runs from 9am to 5pm both days. We will be sure to group your child with other children of their age and skill level for group activities. Some highlights of our camps this year include riding in smaller groups to grow riding skills, grooming horses, learning horse first aid (where kids will learn what to do in an emergency), painting horseshoes, horse-themed Jeopardy, a horse-themed scavenger hunt, and decorating horse-themed cookies.
The cost is $300 per child. For families who joined us last year, we are offering a discounted rate of $250 per child to thank you for your continued support and interest. Because there are limited spots available, we are asking for a $50 fully refundable deposit at registration to hold your child’s spot. The remaining balance will be due exactly one month before your selected camp date:
Each participant will need to bring their own close-toed shoes, helmet (a bike helmet is acceptable), pants (jeans, leggings, or sweatpants are fine), sunscreen, water bottle, and lunch. We will provide morning and afternoon snacks, along with drinks such as Gatorade and Capri Suns. Please let us know of any allergies or food restrictions your child may have so we can accommodate accordingly.
There will be four summer camp counselors, ages 16–17, running and caring for your children throughout the entire camp experience. However, there will always be at least one adult on site at all times. Please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have — we are happy to help!
To Register: Please email mvrequestrian@gmail.com and you will be asked to complete a registration form and pay the $50 deposit. You will then be considered registered for the camp!

A lot of riders love the riding aspect of horses, but many also ask us about the aspect of taking care of them on the ground. We would love to start offering more classes or clinics regarding this, but would love to gage interest. Please fill out this form to learn more and let us know what you think!
