At Mountain View Equestrian, our philosophy goes beyond teaching people how to ride—we’re here to help riders grow. Located in Golden, Colorado, we provide high-quality, affordable horseback riding lessons in a supportive and welcoming environment.
We believe horses are incredible teachers. Through riding, students build confidence, patience, responsibility, and a deeper sense of connection. Our program is rooted in respect—for the horse, for ourselves, and for one another—and we prioritize the safety and well-being of both horse and rider in everything we do.
Whether you’re stepping into the saddle for the first time or continuing your riding journey, we strive to create a down-to-earth space where riders of all ages feel comfortable, encouraged, and inspired to fall in love with the Western lifestyle.
Meet Your Instructor
Abigail founded Mountain View Equestrian at 13 with one goal: to share her lifelong love of horses with her community. Now 17, she leads every lesson herself — bringing patience, skill, and a relatable energy that riders of all ages connect with instantly. Her students don't just learn to ride; they gain confidence, responsibility, and a genuine bond with horses.

We believe learning to ride should be fun, hands-on, and heart-driven. That’s why our lessons and events go beyond the saddle—we teach grooming, groundwork, horsemanship, and the day-to-day realities of life with horses.
At Mountain View Equestrian, we are more than just a lesson program — we are a community. We are so grateful to have found Abigail and Mountain View Equestrian!
